Ungaro was sold in 2004 after founder Emanuel announced his retirement, unfortunately kickstarting a revolving door of designers at the helm of a once colourful and impeccable design house. They’ve been through Lindsay Lohan (no comment), Esteban Cortazar and Estrella Archs. Finally, the incredible Giles Deacon has been announced as New Kid on The Block. Emanuel Ungaro’s legacy is no longer destined for doom. Paris Fashion Week will show us the goods on October 4th and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.
