The days of runways are dead.
Kidding, obviously, but we’re closer than we would have expected a day or so ago. For Paris Fashion Week, the terribly talented Gareth Pugh offered up an eleven-minute film instead of sending models down a catwalk. Being the only model featured, Kristen McMenamy definitely made an iconic mark in the movie montage shot by Ruth Hogben. The film is like a dream, and almost as fabulous as the collection itself. Only a genius like Pugh would think to create mirror moments by printing nylon with aluminium. It was sublimely sci-fi.
