Well, this is a surprise! For the January 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Russia, Hilary Rhoda – one of my favourite professional beauties – is acting all…catalogue model. When a shoot employs a talented photographer like Alan Gelati and throws super-stylist Natalia Alaverdian on top, the last thing I would expect is a model looking bored. Unfortunately, that’s what we have here. Shots one and nine are perfect, but the others fall so heartbreakingly flat. Strange shot choices, editors.
