Alexander McQueen is my most adored British brand, which makes it extremely appropriate for today’s nuptials between HRH Prince William and Catherine ‘Kate’ Middleton. Take note of the ultra-sheer Union Jack. Though I’d adore to see Kate in a longer version of designer Sarah Burton‘s butterfly gown (seen here), my source tells me that Kate’s wedding dress is actually a vintage McQueen piece that Lee designed himself – with Burton taking care of the dress fittings.
