Rachel Zoe Luggage
Rachel Zoe's Luggage
  • Yesterday, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe took to Twitter to show us just how overwhelming the travel process is for her. Holy hell. A gorgeous new baby boy, husband, and handfuls of clients to dress sure cause some baggage fees.

  • Supermodel entrepreneur Kate Moss has collaborated with French company ‘Fred’ to design a jewellery collection! The collection, for the LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy)-owned designer label, will include 22 exclusive pieces that have been inspired by her tattoos (there will be anchor, heart, star and crescent moon tattoo motifs).

The collection will go on sale in Fred stores and online at Www.Fred.com starting October 1st. Prices will range from 350 euros to 35,000 euros (appropriate enough for a diamond and ruby encrusted scarf necklace!)

  • Rumours have been flying around that Raf Simons is taking over Yves Saint Laurent. It was started by the style editor of the International Herald Tribune online, Jessica Michault, who tweeted claiming that Suzy Menkes had confirmed it in a blog for the New York Times.

It spread like wildfire, though no-one seemed to fact check the article which actually read:

If Raf Simons ultimately takes over the helm at Yves Saint Laurent — as those familiar with the situation in Paris suggest — the designer will have found a sweet spot for his meticulous modernism.

Although the designer was traveling back to his native Belgium and could not be reached for comment on the subject of YSL, he certainly has earned an audition for that position.

It’s simply not happening. Stefano Pilati’s contract with YSL has already been renewed.

  • “I’m very much a cookie-cutter hipster. So, I feel a little bit bad about the fact that, essentially, I’m a hipster but I’m the only one that the rest of the world said, ‘Hey you’ve got really great style!’ But literally everyone in Williamsburg and East London has this. But you want to plunder this? Then that’s fine!” – Alexa Chung

  • Though it is four years in the making, Lauryn Hill is being sued for allegedly failing to return “an entire wardrobe of high fashion items” which were lent to her for a tour in 2007.

  • According to Page Six, Anna Wintour (editor of Vogue) has enlisted Mario Testino (super photographer) to entice Duchess Catherine (Mrs Kate Middleton) into shooting the cover of Vogue. Since Testino shot the infamously beautiful official engagement photos of Will and Kate, and attended the royal wedding as a friend of the family, this is a pretty good move from the Devil Wearing Prada. A source said:

“Every magazine has been trying to get Kate, and many assume it will eventually be Vogue. But even with the Mario Testino relationship, it is not clear when this will happen. The Palace must approve it, and they are very protective of Kate.”

  • Model Lindsey Wixson fell at Versace, and The Daily Mail were kind enough to rehash old ‘runway falls in celebration.
