Hotel Elysee: New York

hotel elysee
Day Three of The Hotel Tour of New York and the photos say it all, really. The Hotel Elysee wins the trophy for Best Hotel In The World.

Just steps from the fictional offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce (remember, I love Mad Men), the Presidential Suite met all of my wildest New York fantasies. With a baby grand piano on one end, the living room alone had been more spacious than any hotel room I have been in for years. To boot, the suite was an interior design love fest which featured a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, a party-friendly dining table, and a bedroom terrace looking out onto 54th Street.

And that is just the hotel room. The Hotel Elysee is home to the world-renowned Monkey Bar, and just around the corner you will have quick access to 5th Avenue (aka shopper’s paradise; Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Tiffany & Co, etc) and Central Park. I plan to live here.
