Case in point: an unplanned ode to Jean-Luc Godard’s ‘A Woman Is a Woman‘ (or ‘Une Femme Est Une Femme’ if we’re speaking Frenglish). Godard’s films are – as I’m sure you know – like paintings in motion. With such a lasting visual connection, all it takes is a pair of coloured tights to take me to the streets of Paris in 1961. Poor Manfriend.
