Longtime hairstylist to ‘The Hair’ (aka Jennifer Aniston) Chris McMillan convinced the megastar to transform herself into original “Funny Girl” Barbra Streisand for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Mark Seliger was the photographer to this strange shoot which recreated a number of Streisand signatures from her classics “Funny Girl” (1968) and “What’s Up Doc?” (1972).
Above left she is she sporting wearing a mod bob, heavily lined eyes, Chopard earrings, a gold Gianfranco Ferré dress, and the expected acrylic claws. In the second image, Aniston reimagines Streisand’s wardrobe fitting for the role of “Funny Girl” Fanny Brice in a faux fur leopard-print Moschino coat, Albertus Swanepoel hat, and Louis Vuitton pumps.
I adore ‘accessories editor’ of US Elle Olivia Palermo. Whether or not her position is real or created for MTV’s ‘The City’, her Upper East Side confidence and always-smirky demeanour are magnetic. She is the New York socialite that the bitchy character Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl was based on, and has the chicest fashion sense of any young celebrity you could name.
That being said, I was pretty shocked to see her pulling off some skate-favourite Converses in the latest edition of ASOS Magazine. Props.

She paired it with a matchy-matchy small Chanel clutch and my dream shoes – in regards to platforms with cats on them – from Miu Miu Spring 2010. It’s a definite accesory win.
