free spotify playlist february 2014
This month’s free Spotify playlist practically curated itself. Why? I fell in love with George Ezra.

Ezra and his bangin’ choons are destined for a rather exciting year ahead. They have inspired me to blog along to a few of my favourite new and ‘old’ artists all month. If a boyfriend’s opinion is anything to go by, mine believes this is the best playlist in the history of playlists (or something like that).

Enjoy, babes.

Happy New Year and welcome, ’13-haters, to the beauty of a brand new set of numbers. Because I like to spend the beginning of each year focused on gratitude and reflection, it only made sense to make this month’s free Spotify playlist a bit of a love letter to a few major tunes of major flashback years.

Presenting: your high school years and much, much more.

free spotify playlist christmas
It’s December. This means it’s Christmas Overload Month. This calls for a free Spotify playlist that offers more than Mariah on a lovestruck riff-athon in the 90s. (Though, let’s be honest, there is definitely a time and place to boogy to All I Want For Christmas.)

Presenting: a playlist that will make you feel warm and snuggly – festive, even – without the cheese.

Steve Madden Graanite
Before dancing my life into oblivion at Kensington Roof Gardens last Saturday, I was lucky enough to be invited for a pre-boogie boogie and last London supper alongside the superbabes of Steve Madden UK.

The brand very kindly hosted CharlieStephanie, Serah, and I for dinner at Trullo before whisking us off to the 02 Academy for a concert with their latest Steve Madden magazine cover star, Charli XCX. Having helped support and launch the careers of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, the All American Rejects and more, it was especially fun to don my favourite (cough, only) flats – The Graanite – and join the Steve Madden team in the hair-whipping adrenaline of a live Charlie XCX experience.

After spending much of the 90s lusting after Steve Madden’s iconic chunky platforms, that Saturday night was a spectacular way to sign off the last three years of career-building and blogging in London (having resulted in these sort of weirdly wonderful opportunities).

November’s free Spotify playlist is an attention deficit-friendly doozy. Dictated by some of the month’s biggest radio plays (sup, James Arthur/Lorde), my innate need for musical balance meant I had to balance things out with a bit of Motley Crue, Just Jack, and friends.
