Outfit of The Week – Peaches and Cream

Frette’s furnishings tend to transform the private residences and top hotels of the world into unforgettable aesthetic spaces. If there’s a ‘special effort’ kind of theme you’re going for on a cosy night in with yourself or a loved one, surrounding yourself with the brand’s prettiest little pieces makes for an excellent start.

They’ve furnished the Orient Express, after all. That’s good enough for even the most discerning blanket companion.

Outfit of The Week:
Gaia nightdress
Luxury Colette pillow
Tosca Candle and Candle Holder
Prism Bed Tray (for champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and – if you’re me – gourmet burgers. Obvs.)

Outfit of The Week – Power Dressing

When the weather turns to ass, I choose to defeat any chance of Seasonal Affective Disorder by going mad with outfit planning. While coats are the obvious highlight of winter wardrobes, I put as much focus on accessories and small quirks to create creative looks. Though a peek of your midriff and calves may seem too sexy for the season, an oversized wool coat will keep you warm, chaste, and ever so chic.

Outfit of The Week:
Fifi flared skirt from Reiss
Lovisa pointed-toe pumps from Alexander Wang
Embossed crop top from Alexander McQueen
Mosaic Printed Crepe Wool Coat from Dolce & Gabbana
Gold and silver midi rings from River Island

Outfit of The Week – Pop It Like It’s Hot

Though the pink coat takeover shows no sign of slowing down, I prefer to wear my colour on my heels. Boots like these Duo knee-highs add the so-called ‘X Factor’ to monochromatic looks with the longevity that a coat can’t offer (how long do we wear our coats indoors, anyway?). The coat might as well be, well, invisible.

Outfit of The Week – Get The Look:
Pink platform knee-highs from Duo Boots
Transparent raincoat by Wanda Nylon
Commuter bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs
Boyfriend t-shirt by Alexander McQueen
Biker Wrap miniskirt by Free People

Outfit of The Week – Candywoman

As I try to get in Fashion Week Mindset for next week’s bi-annual festivities, I have naturally slipped into a bit of a love affair with Carven. This season, their pieces feel candy-inspired without being in-your-face sickly sweet. Instead of bubblegum colours we’re talking candy wrappers and pick and mix colour blends in ladylike silhouettes. It is true lust, my friends.

Get The Look:
Flake Double-Breasted Jacket from Carven
Jade Metallic Taffeta Skirt from Carven
Lilac Printed Leather Agathe Bag from Carven
Rose Gold Quinn loafers from 3.1 Phillip Lim

Outfit of The Week – Blogger Uniform

blogger outfit
After running around a practically air con-free city in scorching temperatures all week, my blogger uniform has changed quite a bit. Heels, wedges, and boots have been swapped for flats and day-to-night dresses have been switched out for anything comfortable and breathable (as seen in this edition of Outfit of The Week). I am lusting over this camera bag like a teenage girl over the new GQ covers.

Get The Look:
Red Mid Waist Asymmetrical Skirt Shorts from SheInside
Metallic Leather Loafers from Maison Martin Margiela
Shaldon cross-body camera bag from Village England
Cat eye tortoiseshell acetate sunglasses from Zac Posen
Sheena V Neck T-Shirt from Bastyan
