“If you think about disaster, you will get it. Brood about death and you hasten your demise. Think positively and masterfully, with confidence and faith, and life becomes more secure, more fraught with action, richer in achievement and experience.”

Dianna Agron 'The Late Show with David Letterman'
Though I can’t commend her for the seasonality of it all (black velvet in August?!), I am dying over the ensemble Dianna Agron wore on the “Late Show with David Letterman” yesterday. The gorgeous sweetheart-bodiced and peplum-flounced Rosalia bonded dress is by Stella McCartney. A chic, striking look paired with the go-to appearance shoe, YSL’s Tribtoo pumps.

My favourite thing about her ‘look’ has to be the building departure from her Glee character, Quinn Fabray. From the start of Season One/the start of Dianna’s fame, we’ve seen her in outfits that could be interchangeable with her high-school-aged character. After cutting her hair off at the end of Season Two (AESTHETIC LIBERATION!), Dianna’s personal style has been more edgy, playful, and appealing overall. You can see it in her confidence.

Also, hot pink lipstick gets me everytime. Oh, Dianna.

Coco Rocha Shock of The New
Coco Rocha is absolutely magnetic, isn’t she? Photographed here for “The Shock of The New” by Matthias Vriens-McGrath in the August 2011 issue of Elle UK, she is steaming with confidence. The always-excellent stylist Anne-Marie Curtis has draped Coco in some of the Fall/Winter best from Prada, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Giorgio Armani, Giorgio and Emporio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and more. Perfect Body

Joan Smalls

The “major models” – Raquel Zimmermann, Joan Smalls, and Daria Werbowy – of Vogue’s Shape issue (out again this month) are apparently here to talk candidly about body, brains, and the secret to killer confidence. While these video-bytes tend to be an outlet for famous beauties to tell you how often they don’t work out, Vogue have done it a little differently.

“Women are their hardest critics, and we need to learn how to accept ourselves, how we are,” says Smalls. “Some of the models, you’d be surprised backstage, that their body isn’t perfect either. It depends also on how you dress, how you present yourself, but don’t be fooled by models being perfect specimens because we’re far from that.”
