Constance Jablonski Alexi Lubomirski
Methinks Katerina Mukhina needs to style more – I am in concept love with the Alexi Lubomirski lensed “Свидетель Обвинения”. This style trial of sorts is set up for Vogue Russia‘s March issue and features an impeccably dressed Constance Jablonski putting on ‘all that jazz’. It’s an adventitious reminder of the ‘little moments’. Also, reporter in green has stellar bone structure. View Post

Prabal Gurung Fall Winter 2011
Prabal Gurung was the show covered in multi-coloured highlighters and gold stars for my Fall/Winter 2011 agenda. For a reason. The model lineup alone was spectacular – Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen, Mirte Mass, Jourdan Dunn, Constance Jablonski, etc. Gurung is one of the dexterous few that can match eccentricity and elegance. By washing silk faille, dip-dyeing fur, braiding organza, and throwing ostrich feathers where it counted, the collection was ‘personality‘ defined. Take a note from Prabal if you’re looking to work some prestigious comfort. See the top five looks below. View Post

Constance Jablonski Alex Cayley
Hola, bonita. Constance Jablonski is simply smoking on the cover of Vogue España for their February 2011 issue. This shot by Alex Cayley has sparked a girlcrush.

The Kid Constance Jablonski Numero
Apart from being a news source, I typically use this dot-com as a place to talk about the things that I love. This post, however, is going to be a little different. As a stylist, I understand the pressure there is to be innovative and how easily you can slip into ‘shock factor’ shoots without realising the impact it can have. Numero and Patti Wilson may have pushed it too far this time. In issue 117, a beautiful display of clothing is worn by the lovely Constance Jablonski and shot by Greg Kadel for a shoot named “The Kid“. You may think they are referencing the Charlie Chaplin movie until you realise the “prop” in the shoot is a black child. To compliment the child, they have put the very pale Constance in “blackface” and fake afros. The theme is lost on me, and I find it to be offensive rather than edgy as it does not work as a fashion story on any level. View Post

Nine West Constance Jablonski Campaign
Wondermodel Constance Jablonski is Carrie Bradshaw in the new Nine West campaign. The way these shots are set up are more than similar to the cinematography of a scene in Sex and The City where Carrie and Miss Samantha Jones lust after some heels through the shop window. The “Hello, lover!” scene is so infamous for fans, HBO even turned the quote into merchandise. Smart move, Nine West. View Post
