Heather Marks Flaunt
Heather Marks, where have you been?! OK, you walked over seventy shows in Fall/Winter 2005 – you probably needed those five years to fully recover. Nonetheless, I welcome you back with Flaunt‘s “Let’s keep this between ourselves, okay?” spread! Your photographic showcase in their Summer 2011 issue is the best I have been from you in a very long time. With Randall Slavin on lens and Long Nguyen on style, the colourization and textures are perfectly executed. Top marks all ’round. View Post

Freja Beha Erichsen Vogue UK September 2011
The effervescent Freja Beha Erichsen shines on the cover of British Vogue‘s September 2011 issue, marking her third cover for Vogue’s posher partner. The aqua-hued dress and star-spangled accessories are both from Dolce & Gabbana‘s Fall/Winter 2011 collection, and the cover was shot by Mario Testino.

Coco Rocha Shock of The New
Coco Rocha is absolutely magnetic, isn’t she? Photographed here for “The Shock of The New” by Matthias Vriens-McGrath in the August 2011 issue of Elle UK, she is steaming with confidence. The always-excellent stylist Anne-Marie Curtis has draped Coco in some of the Fall/Winter best from Prada, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Giorgio Armani, Giorgio and Emporio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and more. Chanel Fall Winter 2011
PSH! First I post a Best of Tumblr dedicated to photobooths and then Karl Lagerfeld decides to shoot Freja Beha Erichsen in a photobooth for his Fall/Winter 2011 Chanel campaign? COINCIDENCE? Well, yes. I must say, it feels pretty good to have the same direction/appreciation as the photoshoot’s stylist – and my personal hero – Carine Roitfeld. View Post

Emma Watson Vogue
As part promotion of the final cinematic chapter of Harry Potter – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – there is quite a bit of Emma Watson in US Vogue‘s July 2011 issue (shot by Mario Testino). Her cover and spread are filled with the best of Fall/Winter 2011; Prada to Tom Ford, Aquilano.Rimondi, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, and many more.

The “Emma Watson’s New Day” photos are so breathtaking that I barely noticed the male models – Jeremy Irvine, Luke Treadaway, and Tom Hughes – were there.
