Jeffrey Campbell Lita Glitter

The Jeffrey Campbell Lita in Glitter

To celebrate the end of Fashion Month (and the actual decision on what to choose being made!), it is time for a competition!

Since we are segue-ing into a new season and a new year, I only thought it would be appropriate to give away one of the most popular shoes of 2011 –

THE JEFFREY CAMPBELL LITA!

In glitter, of course. The one lucky winner will also receive a copy of my guide to fashion, beauty and self-love – She Said Style.

To enter:

  • Leave a comment below telling me what you are looking forward to for Spring/Summer 2012 (use that link if you need inspiration!), as well as your shoe size.
  • To validate your entry, “Like” my page on Facebook and make sure to say bonjour on the wall so I know you’ve liked it.
  • For those of you who already “Like” me on Facebook, please share the page with as many of your friends as possible (they can enter, too!).

    For extra entries:

  • Follow me on Twitter and @ me with the hashtag #litalove!

The contest is open worldwide. You have until November 30th to enter! Please make sure you comment with a valid e-mail address.

  • Artistic Colour Gloss
I have no time for traditional nail polish. In a hands-on career, a simple 30-minute application turns into daily touch ups, and the minute a nail is snagged on a zipper or pin it is all over.

Thankfully, I have just been introduced to the nail treatment favoured by the likes of J-Lo, Victoria Beckham, Beyonce, and Cameron Diaz – Tom Bachik’s Artistic Colour Gloss – an everlasting soak-off gel polish.

I went to Harrods‘ nail loft in Urban Retreat once I heard about the chip-free manicure that lasts 3 weeks. With 22 new shades just released for Fall/Winter 2011, I chose Artistic Colour Gloss’ white polish, shimmer coat and glitter tip from a total of their 66 colours (though hugely tempted by their new neon orange shade!)

Thanks to a lamp that cures the nail dry in 30 seconds, I was completely finished in 30 minutes total with not a smudge to be had. 3 weeks of flawless nail art for 30 minutes? Win. I think I’m addicted. View Post

Next to the return of flat platforms, the feather earring comeback is set to be one of the biggest trends this Summer. What is sure to flood the Glastonbury fashion scene, this is a trend that anyone with pierced ears can indulge in. Whether they are long and worn as extensions or short and colour-sensational, the trend is super affordable and easy to DIY. I suggest you find a craft store and load up on earring hooks, glitter threads, dye, beads, and all the faux feathers that you wish. Be sure to tweet me your results!

    Caroline Charles LFW Runway
Caroline Charles took a very detailed note from the success of fifties style for London Fashion Week. While her customer tends to be more mature, there was enough knicker-flashing underneath a mesh tutu to keep the young interested. She slickly introduced glitter where appropriate, kept shapes and trends interesting, and threw gloves on a countless number of lewks (that was for you, Brad Goreski). One-hundred-percent commercial and set to a Happy Days-worthy soundtrack. View Post
