Top model (not the Tyra-related version) and Victoria’s Secret Angel Erin Heatherton has my favourite cover of Elle Serbia thus far. She was shot by Enrique Badulescu for the August 2011 issue wearing one of Jil Sander‘s Spring/Summer 2011 collection skirts…and that skirt only. See the uncensored version below, you cheeky monkey. Phew! Haven’t done a Behind The Camera for a while. I thought it was only fair, this time, to shine a little light on a dark corner of modelling: The Men’s Corner. While menswear seems to claw at the doors of high fashion, the models are enough reason to open said doors up. Case in point? 22-year-old French model Clement Chabernaud. All cheekbones, all man. His debut was at the Spring/Summer 2005 Dior Homme show in Paris, after which he gained ‘celebrity’ as the face of Jil Sander (who he has been walking for – opening and closing shows – ever since). This year, he also became the face of Prada and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Go on, get lost in his eyes.
IBJUBIERJNGIEJFGNE. I love seeing Leighton Meester in spreads that aren’t Photoshopped to the heavens or injected with plasti-smiles (looking at you, teen ‘magazines’). The Gossip Girl left Blair Waldorf behind for L’Officiel Lithuania‘s March issue, channeling Hepburn 2011 in a neon pink Lanvin S/S 2011 top, emerald green Jil Sander S/S 2011 skirt, pink stilettos and slick mane. The rest of the looks are a compilation of MaxMara, YSL, Gucci and Fendi: masters of la séduction facile. View Post
March’s Vogue Spain brought in Camilla Åkrans to shoot the effortlessly bananas Malgosia Bela. Naturally, “El Arte de la Seduccion” had little to no chance of going bad. Throw McQueen, Sander, and friends on top of it all and we have the photoshoot equivalent of a red velvet cupcake. View Post
