Milan Fashion Week is in full swing, and glamour is back at Gucci. Frida Giannini has worked wonders with colour-blocked separates, fierce and fringed dresses, and modern takes on utilitarian styles like riding pants and aviator jackets. I am no longer numb on neutrals! It was Boogie Nights. It was Studio 54. Commercially luxurious as sartorially possible, it mirrored the effects of Yves Saint Laurent‘s “Peasant Chic” being born back in 1976.

Whether you’re an Editor on your way to Milan Fashion Week or a lucky transatlantic fashionista with an ‘in’, the end of London Fashion Week means that Heathrow will be packed with some very well dressed men and women tomorrow.
