London Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2011 was un-be-lie-va-ble. I made some amazing friends, drank too many lattes, and got to secretly celebrate the fashion of my favourite city in the world. Nicole Farhi LFW Runway
Nicole Farhi was inspired by Christo‘s “revelation through concealment” technique, and her show at London Fashion Week was definitely a revelation. To me, it was all about the details; perspex belts, bodies wrapped in canvas straps, and abstract prints to ‘add a little something’. Unlike a lot of designers this week, Nicole didn’t venture too far from brand expectation, and was one of the designers that had no need to. Classic womenswear. View Post

Liza Minelli London Fashion Week Designer Inspiration
Half way through Day Three of London Fashion Week, my rundowns are all half written and in the most juvenile form of broken English you can imagine. Do not despair! Sentences are not needed as we find out what inspired a few of our favourite designers this season – in one quip or less.

Twenty8Twelve by Sienna Miller: Girl Pin-Up
Paul Smith: trompe l’oeil
Nicole Farhi: concealed/revealed
Issa: Indian Summer
House of Holland: Liza Minelli
Sass & Bide: Nature
