From my personal style viewpoint, I really don’t think I can pull off all-leather ‘bad girl’ ensembles. Though I’d obviously like to be all Dark Angel meets fashionista, I am genuinely too much of a klutz to look as badass as the all-black look requires.
When paired with my favourite angel-winged super sneaks, however? That’s a style spin I can smile in.

Oh, HEYYYYY sun. When I see your rays a-shining I often dream of prancing around town in nothing but an oversized t-shirt. This weekend, I finally gave myself permission. Behold, an outfit post that can only be called an outfit post thanks to some snazzy accessorising.

Wedged boots from Buffalo (similar here)
Pearl sunglasses from Missguided
A classy pair of old socks
Until a week ago I had never worn a pair of Crocs. Though they have celebrated a decade as one of the most popular and cult-discussed shoes from the US to Asia, I – true to my heel obsession – have never felt the desire to throw on a pair of their Classic Clogs.
Then, in good ol’ Fashion Blog fate, I was contacted by Crocs for the chance to share my take on some of their latest styles. Hesitant that they might not suit my style, I was sold as soon as I opened the look book. Earning a trendy notch on their belt, new styles like the Huarache flats (seen above in multi/geranium) and Retro slingback flats (seen in fuchsia/ultraviolet and nautical navy/red) have completely 360ed my thoughts on the brand.

I went a little outfit mad on ShopStyle recently. If you have yet to use ShopStyle (it was my first time, tee-bee-aytch) I suggest you hop over to the site…pronto. ShopStyle is basically a search engine devoted to fashion and the ability to cross-shop hundreds of thousands of apparel, home decorating and kids products in one place. For those of you, like me, who spend hours trawling through websites to find the ‘perfect piece’ (often budget, size, designer, and colour specific), ShopStyle is perfect.
The result? £140 saved from the RRPs, new season stripes, some super pumped up kicks, and a little bit of glitz. The Summer Uniform of 2013 if, in fact, we get a Summer.
What I Wore:
Silver Hamsa Necklace from Sam Ubhi (similar here)
Swarovski Crystal Drop Earrings from Krystal
Amalia Grey Perforated Hi Top Wedges from Boohoo
Shift Dress With Ruffle Hem In Vertical Stripe Print from ASOS
Painting it black all up in London Town today.
Black and I have a rather on-and-off relationship. For all it’s sartorial greatness, I usually end up leaving the house in all the shades of a neon rainbow. When I spotted this Galaxy Print dress on We Like Shopping (the best site around for targeting local brands in London), however, I developed a major urge to do head-to-toe black. Throwing on my new favourite biker jacket from French Connection (worn here without the buckle best) essentially finished the outfit. Don’t be surprised if you see these two items pop up a lot over Spring – if it ever arrives – and Summer.
What I Wore:
Galaxy print shift dress, China Doll Boutique. Athena biker jacket, French Connection. Handmade black caged heels.
