autumn outfit post
Though I am a woman of dress-donning nature, my inclination for trouserless ensembles means I spend an absolute fortune on tights over the Winter months.

Try as I might, I just don’t have the cajones for bare legs and beanies like my Northern partygirl counterparts. My legs have, however, found a best friend in these super affordable and adorable mulled wine-coloured jeans. A welcome break from an expensive uniform of colour-coordinated dresses and tights.

What I Wore:
“Mulled wine” (burgundy) off-duty denim (from George!)
Faux fur-trimmed gilet
Black top (similar here)
Black and gold eels from Duo (past season, similar here)
Laser-cut Evelina clutch bag

fancy festival
For the collaborative sake of Zalando’s Festival competition, I broke the barriers of festival fashion.

I am a self-professed music freak but have limited patience for showerless hoards of drunks, so jumped at the chance to see Jessie J live as part of Somerset House’s ever-so-civil Summer Series festival.

The location I work myself to the sartorial bone twice a year seemed serendipitous for an an aural shot.

What I Wore:
Anna Field sandals & hat, House of Holland earrngs, Jeepers Peepers sunglasses (all from Zalando!)
White wiggle dress (old)
Chanel handbag
Intelligent Quartz Fly-Back Chronograph watch from Timex (it is my new favourite thing in life)

The folks at Yumi know I am sartorially sunshine-y individual, so invited me to be part of their 30 Days of Summer campaign…

..now in the mood to watch a Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie…

…and style up some seasonal favourites. Based around my discovery of their pineapple-accented wallet (doubles up as a statement ID/money clutch), I put together some complimentary prints – et voila; a look that can take you from work to weddings and everything in between.

What I Wore:
Trees and bluebells printed dress
Pointed toe bow stilettos
Tropical print wallet

venus with love
I went on a very Valentines-y website and ordered myself some jewellery. I have a very little willpower when it comes to shiny things.

In this case, the jewellery box-rearranging culprit was Venus With Love‘s ever-so-lovely rose gold ‘V Locket’ and their personalised crystal charms. Though a lot of the charms are geared towards celebratory or romantic presents, the infinity charm, peace hand charm, and little crystal ‘L’ seemed ideal choices for a little present from me to me…

…with a pearl and wing thrown in for good measure.

I’m in lust with the results and – because I know you will be, too – I have secured a 20% off discount code (LELALONDON20) so you’re able to join in on the personal present purchasing.

Or drop the code in an e-mail to your romantic partner (subject line: I’M SAVING YOU MONEY! xoxo). Whatever gets you your shinies.

The snow bunny is back.

Though I have yet to secure my long-awaited ski dates, the so-called hauls that I have undergone leading up to said event have kept me slightly sane. Slightly. I still found an excuse to break in my ski style selections before hitting a single slope.

As soon as an inch of snow settled, I covered myself in Trespass and ran around for hours with Gatsby (The Pomeranian). With an endless number of pockets, toggles, cords, and general snow-smart additions, I am more excited than ever to get my ski boots on.

What I Wore:
White ‘Solitude’ ski pants from Trespass (they have detachable braces, a four-way stretch, and are genuinely perfection)
Black ‘Marlena’ ski jacket with faux fur hood from Trespass
Tom Ford sunglasses (similar here)
Hunter wellies (similar here)
