Inspired by their covershoot with British musician Elly Jackson (the bulletproof La Roux!), Paper magazine dedicated a few pages of their September issue to menswear – with one catch – all the looks were modelled by women.
Featuring designers Charlotte Ronson and Erin Fetherston, actress Michelle Trachtenberg, model Veronica Webb and many others, the images depict these typically femme females in “scraggly mustaches and sideburns,” suspenders, and everything from scruffy overalls to schoolboy uniforms.
Enclosed in the September issue of Vogue Italia you will find a special pair of 3D vision glasses. This is not for giggles but for their cover and 22-page cover story of Miranda Kerr – shot by photography master Steven Meisel. Because 2D flawlessness wasn’t enough.

Fall’s Riches by Harper’s Bazaar for their US September Issue is basically a how-to on shooting accessories. Heidi Mount is shaped under the styling of Julia von Boehm for the camera of Ben Hassett. It is wallet-shatteringly luxe. View Post
Alana Zimmer is living my dream scene for “Riviera Noir” in Marie Claire Italia‘s September Issue 2010. Photographed by Txema Yeste and styled by Belén Casadevall, Italia definitely has the fashionable ‘damsel’ down pat. View Post
Kai Z Feng and BlackBook regular Christopher Campbell team up with a platinum blond version of Mark Ronson for the September issue cover story of BlackBook. It’s officially not perfect without T-Bird leather jacket. View Post
