Harper’s Bazaar UK gets sucked into the Miu Miu groundhog day as revealed by their October cover. Not kidding. Karen Elson is in the dress. I can’t be the only journalist or stylist that has caught on. Is it now a dress to expand on press coverage because of it’s repetitive infamy?

Grace Coddington, creative director of Vogue, is working on a memoir. Coddington and former Men’s Vogue editor in chief Jay Fielden have been confirmed as the pair to write the autobiography by Coddington herself. “We’re just starting, and I think it’s going to be a really fun project…I’m hoping it’s going to be very rich in fashion history. It’s more than just about me.”
The book will cover Coddington’s early life in Wales (woohoo – Welsh women!), her modeling days in Sixties London, the car accident that changed her career path and her ascendancy through fashion’s ranks as a stylist and editor at British Vogue and, later, its American counterpart. View Post
The “Salt” star insisted to Stylist that little Shiloh Jolie-Pitt calls the shots when it comes to her tomboy attire, and that’s just fine with Mrs Angelina Jolie-Pitt.
“It’s not my choice,” she said of Shiloh’s wardrobe, which includes polo shirts, cargo pants, hoodies, and boys’ swim trunks. “I have a very strong-willed four-year-old girl who tells me what she wants to wear and I let her be who she is.” View Post
In the first 10 minutes of last night’s new episode of the Rachel Zoe Project, our beloved stylist revealed that her ex-stylist – the very whiny Taylor Jacobson – was fired by Rachel’s husband Rodger due to “financial discrepancies” tied to the junior stylist’s book-keeping. Brad Goreski, her preppy and nice styling assisant (well, actually Styling Director as of last night’s promotion), also accused Taylor of stealing clothes from Zoe’s sample closet.
I knew all that bleach would mess up her neurosis.
UK Elle, UK Vogue and W seem to have a triplet thing going on for August.
It is quite a big deal for a designer to land a piece on the cover of any of these three mega-magazines, let alone all of them. The tangerine-coloured version of the Miu Miu dress is both worn by Eva Mendes (W) and Freja Beha Erichsen (Vogue). Lily Allen, however, wears a lilac lace version on the cover of Elle.
Someone at the PR offices of Miu Miu is getting a nice bonus this month.
