Day Seven of NYFW – Tory Burch

Tory Burch NYFW Runway
As a woman who is fashionably astute and also pop-culture savvy, Tory Burch always seems to know what women want to wear right now. For spring, the spirit of the ’70s is ringing out like your favourite Donna Summer tune, and the plugged-in designer turned up volume with a parade of fun and funky offerings for her New York Fashion Week show.

Jackets and coats featured cropped sleeves and, in some cases, bold gold buttons; pants were long and flared or tight and abbreviated; and blouses were billowing but not overwhelming. Bold colors such as navy, persimmon, and gold punctuated the landscape of the presentation, including on the designer herself. Amid a sea of people, the trendsetting Burch shined like the sun in a burnt-orange blouse with a matching leather three-quarter-length skirt. Booya.
