Abbey Lee Kershaw shocked everyone at New York Fashion Week‘s Chanel party by showing up as a platinum blonde (perhaps an ode to Alexander Wang‘s White-Out inspired collection?).
“I did it like two days ago,” she said. “It took seven hours and I didn’t speak for another four hours. I just made the decision that I needed a change. I’ve never dyed my hair before. Also I think that with the cut that I’ve got, it was the time to go white.”
Not only is she now a piece of peroxide perfection, but her style diaries over the past few days have been gorgeous as well after this mini-makeover. View Post

Rag and Bone always deliver. For Spring 2011, the celebrity-less attendees of their show at New York Fashion Week got a treat. With looks like an amazing white broderie anglaise suit with a harness banage top, they seemed to have small metallic accents on every model. It’s all about the free spirit with British-influenced designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville. View Post
Chanel has just released behind the scenes photos from the making of their fall winter ready-to-wear advertisement starring Freja Beha Erichsen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Brad Kroening. The shoot was photographed of course by Karl Lagerfeld and you can see all of the images at Chanel’s blog.
…but only for a video. Ryan McGinley seems to like shooting suicidal themes.
Daul Kim, Lucy Gordon, Tom Nicon, Hayley Kohle, Ruslana Korshunova, and Ambrose Olson are just a few of the models who have recently committed suicide. Now Abbey Lee Kershaw has killed herself in a video for a clothing company.
In the video for South Korean brand Lewitt, which was uploaded by a YouTube member originally, Kershaw climbs a building, pauses while contemplating jumping and then hurls herself into the void – with slow motion flips of various outfit changes. It seemed like a bizarre concept for promoting fashion to young women in a country that boasts the world’s highest female suicide rate. An artistic commentary or just distasteful? You decide.
Video can be seen here since it has been removed from Youtube.
Jaeger is all that is British style. In fact, my dream winter coat is part of their upcoming collection. In their new fall/winter advertisement shot by Emma Summerton, they have positioned Abbey Lee Kershaw and Imogen Morris-Clarke next to each other while ‘riding’ London landmark The London Eye and it does not fail to please.
