It’s always nice to end on a neon note. Miuccia Prada wrapped up the four main worldwide Fashion Weeks at Miu Miu with a Seventies bow and a soundtrack that strangely featured dialogue from Flashdance, Cheryl Cole and the X Factor. With a timeless mix of “Oh my God” pieces and extreme elegance, there were individual quirks to each piece like stylised swan prints. Wait about two months and you’ll see these items on every magazine shelf you walk by. Thus ends Spring/Summer 2011. Excuse me while I throw my platforms at the wall and slip into a fashion coma. A source for the magazine claimed:
“It’s been 18 months since we published our original story about Cheryl Cole and despite mutterings that she was a flash-in-the-pan phenomenon, her popularity has stuck, her story continuing to intrigue. She is particularly popular with the Vogue team, since our cover shoot took place only 24 hours before she was diagnosed with malaria. Although she felt really unwell on the shoot, she was a real trouper, sticking with us and working though the day. Of course, at that stage nobody knew what the problem was. We are all very grateful to her for her stoicism.”
That’s no excuse for this. Excuse me while I puke sparkly daisies. View Post

Only 5 pairs of the Eternal Diamond Borgezie Stilletos (by the House of Borgezie)have ever been sold; rumours say to likes of Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton and Cheryl Cole. All shoes are created in Birmingham, and the design features replaceable red soles, and a patent-pending fluted heel, inspiration for which was drawn from the stamen of a lily. Would you spend this much on a pair of heels?
Jessica Simpson is reportedly in negotiations to judge the 2011 season of American Idol and has met with the producers several times. The show is due to have a huge overhaul and claims to be making a big announcement at its event at the 2010 Television Critics Association Press Tour this coming Monday.
I know I would be watching with Cheryl Cole-like anticipation as far as fashion choices would go. The Price of Beauty creator is routinely criticised for poor wardrobe choices and I’m sure would light up the world of fashion blogs in one way or another.
Mid-slew of unflattering maxi dresses and shapeless workut gear, I recently fell completely in love with an outfit she wore while traipsing New York City (seen below). She’s wearing Ralph Lauren Ricky Sunglasses in Black, the Christian Dior Chri Chri Shopping Bag, the Yves Saint Laurent Essentiel Rivet Sandals, a Prada Gathered Shoulder Blouse and a Linea Pelle Pyramid Studded Hip Belt in Black.
