As a model with some of the highest highs (named It Girl by Anna Wintour) and lowest lows (ridiculed for becoming a “big girl”, though thin by ‘normal’ standards), I am ridiculously happy to see Gemma Ward on the April cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia. While she has no plans to return to the modelling world, Peter Ash Lee‘s photo has captured the beauty of a woman who has kept on carrying on, and will soon be making a big-screen splash in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
