Louis Vuitton SS12
Though the full campaign has yet to be released, I have astronomically high hopes for Louis Vuitton‘s Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaign. With models Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher snapped in a candy-coated colour dream scheme, the collection (thus far) has really been brought to life. It begs for a second glance, which is something I feel such a monumental fashion campaign should hold to the highest priority. Only Steven Meisel could have photographed this to this degree of perfection. View Post

Crystalline Kinga Rajzak
Yum, yum, candy-coloured yum. For their August 2011 issue, Dazed & Confused employed Kinga Rajzak as the solo model for their “Crystalline” editorial. With Ruth Hogben on the ever-colourful lens, stylist Katie Shillingford pulled some theme-ringing Walter Van Beirendonck and Frankie Morello pieces, then added an unexpected yet gorgeous dose of Just Cavalli and Louis Vuitton. Flufftastic. View Post

Meadham Kirchoff LFW Runway
Meadham Kirchhoff was definitely one of the high points of London Fashion Week. With a runway decorated in giant-sized lollipops, girls in Corpse Bride-makeup floated down the runway to “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy“. There was layer upon layer of floral, candy-coloured art – all with a gothic and otherworldly twist. Frills and lace dresses were oversized while hand-prints, canary yellows and shocking pinks streamed out from backstage alongside babushka doll-style red dresses. Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff are the most extraordinary pair. View Post
