As we were aware, there were models, actresses and more who pranced in Ford’s production, making for fabulous Youtube-vision. We see Terry Richardson photographing the Tom-Forded bodies of Chanel Iman, Liya Kebede, Lauren Hutton, Julianne Moore, Daphne Guinness and Beyonce, among a small crowd of exclusive guests a la Anna Wintour. It’s happy, sweet, and very obviously Seventies. See below! View Post
This is the twenty-four minute behind the scenes video of Karl Lagerfeld’s shoot for the 2011 Pirelli calendar where all of our favourite models (and Julianne Moore?) portray ancient Greek and Roman gods. The kicker? Expansive views of Karl’s Paris studio, the walls of which are filled with so many books I am having mid-earthquake photoshoot fantasies. The calendar itself (where nudity is abundant) is not the tasteless, raunchy mess we have seen in the years previous thanks to – in the words of Abbey Lee Kershaw – “the Einstein of high fashion”. She and other model beauties such as Brad Kroening have a good amount of interview time to swoon over, as well.
Wait a second, wasn’t everyone at the Tom Ford show supposed to sign a nondisclosure agreement? Naughty fashionistas. Thanks to some anonymous contract breakers, we now have leaked images of everyone’s head shot before the show – from Julianne Moore to Beyonce to Daphne Guinness to Lauren Hutton – they are all accounted for.
Since the gates have now opened, Cathy Horyn has also posted photos she snapped while at the show on the New York Times website. See them all below! View Post
