I absolutely adore the colouring of Vogue Nippon‘s cover for their November 2011 issue. While the combination of yellow, green and purple can often feel a little ‘Macarena‘(…a little 90’s extraordinaire…), the addition of a fiercely composed yet easy-focused Lara Stone pulls it all together.
Obviously, wearing head-to-toe Givenchy doesn’t hurt, either.
In the second of i-D magazine‘s Fall 2011 “Dream Big” covers, we have top model Lara Stone posing for legendary fashion photographer David Bailey. The playful, boa-ed fashion styling is courtesy of Charlotte Stockdale.
While the 2012 Pirelli calendar is not due to be unveiled until December, your little Lela London has her paws on a very early preview of the NSFW (not suitable for work!) annal. The six ladies of 2012 that we know are definitely involved thus far consist of Isabeli Fontana, Saskia de Brauw, Lara Stone, Kate Moss, Milla Jovovich, and Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi (who is incredibly awesome, beautiful, and a spot-on casting). The shots – taken in Corsica – were taken by Mario Sorrenti earlier this Summer. Read on when your boss is on their lunchbreak. View Post
…in stockings and sandy Louboutins! August 2011’s Vogue Paris cover is awesome, no? We have a Dominatrix-esque Lara Stone, photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, searching the skies next to a blue cadillac as a plane flies over her head. Princess Leia on the beach? Whatever the inspiration is…I love it.
Everything is so on point for US Vogue‘s “Spellbound” photo spread in their July 2011 issue. Photographed by Peter Lindbergh, we get a deliciously obscene amount of chemistry displayed from Lara Stone and Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman seems to be giving me the eyes). Grace Coddington‘s styling – once again – is compositionally perfect. This spread is phenomenal. Even Frida Gustavsson is thrown in for good model measure. View Post
