Prabal Gurung was the show covered in multi-coloured highlighters and gold stars for my Fall/Winter 2011 agenda. For a reason. The model lineup alone was spectacular – Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen, Mirte Mass, Jourdan Dunn, Constance Jablonski, etc. Gurung is one of the dexterous few that can match eccentricity and elegance. By washing silk faille, dip-dyeing fur, braiding organza, and throwing ostrich feathers where it counted, the collection was ‘personality‘ defined. Take a note from Prabal if you’re looking to work some prestigious comfort. See the top five looks below. View Post

Day Two of NYFW – Rag and Bone
Rag and Bone always deliver. For Spring 2011, the celebrity-less attendees of their show at New York Fashion Week got a treat. With looks like an amazing white broderie anglaise suit with a harness banage top, they seemed to have small metallic accents on every model. It’s all about the free spirit with British-influenced designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville. View Post
Liu as Who – Angel or Devil?
Numéro China got photographer Tiziano Magni to shoot the lovely Liu Wen in a fashionable version of Heaven and Hell, Angel and Devil. Keep an eye out for the stunning and devilish Chanel Haute Couture interpretation. View Post
