The UK doesn’t exactly celebrate Halloween like our amigos in the US, but since I’m half-and-half and obsessed with music, I’m getting my kicks where I can. (Any excuse for a Spotify playlist, right?) It is a little more ‘True Blood gangster woman’ than ‘Monster Mash’, but with everything from Ice T to Marilyn Manson there is definitely something for everyone.

Mark Badgley and James Mischka for Badgley Mischka got as ritzy and glitzy as they could for yesterday’s New York Fashion Week show. Sometimes, these designers show higher and lower-priced collections separately. In past seasons, they’ve been getting closer and closer to the point; doing it right this season, they have blended (or juiced, if we’re using fashion-friendly terminology) it all. I appreciate it because it’s closer to how a woman puts together her wardrobe. The Badgley Mischka guys have it all: long formal gowns, shorter dresses that are still dressy, and some odd high-waist jeans. There were quirky picture hats, platform wedge sandals, and piles of their own crystal bracelets. It was a monster mash. View Post
