Karaoke Box Smithfield

karaoke box smithfield
Last week one of my longest/most beloved friends and I attended the relaunch of Karaoke Box Smithfield and – in all of its musical glory – had the time of our lives. If you’re not familiar with the Karaoke Box concept, you will be happy to find that unlike the typical open-bar setting, Karaoke Box actually hold sixteen private karaoke rooms of varying sizes and capacities (up to 40 people) so you can cherry pick your audience.

Each room is which are outfitted with a flatscreen TV; leather seating; surround sound; wireless microphones, dimer switches, a red button for waitress service, and easy-to-use touch screen monitors with over 9,000 songs searchable by title or artist (as well as a physical book you can search through, as well). Adele, Prince, Foo Fighters, Run DMC, Britney (or Vritbey, if you’ve had one too many mojitos)…there is something for everyone.

Even if it is just you and the friend you used to pretend you were in Destiny’s Child with back in your school days (ahem), you will have a fantastic time. Throw on your glad rags and make good use of their extensive drinks menu to ensure as much.
