Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty

Alexander McQueen appreciates the huge amount of interest the public has shown towards the Savage Beauty exhibition. We have been in discussion with a number of major venues in London for some time now however nothing has been finalised. Please be assured that an official announcement will be made the moment we confirm our plans for London.”

That’s right, fashionistas and fashionistos! Though the details are still hush-hush, it looks as though Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty will be coming to London in 2013, marking the 20th anniversary of Alexander Lee’s business (only a few months after showing his Central St Martins MA graduation collection, “Jack The Ripper Stalks His Victims“, in 1992). Supposed venue locations currently in talks include The Tower of London, Somerset House, The Truman Brewery (where the real Jack the Ripper stalked his victims), The London Dungeons, and Battersea Power Station. I cannot bleeping wait.

Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2011
So much ‘B’ goodness: Bailey (Christopher), Bosworth (Kate), and Bilson (Rachel) all at Burberry! Christopher is a brain when it comes to making the fashionistas of the world look chic while covered up. For Fall/Winter 2011, choice colour appeared in blue, pink and yellow outerwear (and the classic trench brown, of course). With flared skinny pants, Himalaya-high heels, Cruella de Vil (yes, again!) black and white prints, and a snow covered finale, there was something for everyone. See the top five looks below! Cynthia Rowley ToolsCynthia Rowley is taking a stab at home improvement. The New York-based designer just rolled out a line of hardware-store staples like hammers, pliers, and flashlights that will be sold in her various boutiques. They are incredibly cute, incredibly Rowley, but I have to say I don’t know many fashionistas that have picked up a hammer in their entire life. It’ll be interesting to see how successful this becomes. View Post
