As soon as Cannes wraps, we have yet another (entirely different) ‘red carpet‘ to break down: last night’s 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Six ladies really stood out for me.
First, Taylor Swift in a luminous, embellished nude Elie Saab gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Practically perfect in every way.
Still riding the youngun train, we have Selena Gomez in an ultra-sexy black Dolce & Gabbana cut out dress with thigh high split. She teamed it with red, bow-front Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, a Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane jewels.
Gracious, Kelly Rowland, you look banging. I could not imagine anyone else rocking her bubblegum pink Herve Leger bandage dress with such ease.
Rihanna rocked an oversized white Max Azria suit and nude Christian Louboutin‘s before accepting her award for Radio Artist of the Year.
Kylie Minogue – who is in the middle of a US tour – showed up in a silk tulle, satin, and organza dress by Alexander McQueen for Spring/Summer 2011. Her accessories included Lucy Hutchings jewels and black Christian Louboutin ‘Change of the Guard’ fringe sandals to match her dress.
Nicki Minaj quirked it out in a pink wig and baby blue Mark Fast Spring/Summer 2011 jumpsuit with white Versace lace up sandals.
