Giles Deacon is having one hell of a season, now adding an incredible first show with French label Emanuel Ungaro to his repertoire. At the Serre du Parc Andre Citroen in Paris’ 15th arrondissement, his maribou-trimmed collection was shown in an explosive garden setting that embodied all of Giles’ va-va-voom and tongue-in-cheek feminine predecession. Anna Dello Russo even got in on the action as a model; sharing the spotlight with a stuffed lamb (of the never-breathing variety) named Funbungo. I would go as far as saying the age of ‘Ungaro Unsure‘ is over.
